This is by far going to be the simplest build you’ve ever done, with the biggest impact in your space! IF you’ve ever wanted a bench in a space, but haven’t been able to afford one, this bench was done with 1 piece of wood and I created plans for you to do the same!

I purchased the legs from Amazon, here's a link s you can snag your own and make this little cutie for yourself!
Here's also a few other options as well!
Start with glueing up your bench top! I used a piece of Ash wood I had on hand that measured 1x9x10. I measured my top to the length of the kind bed it was going at the foot of. Once I cut the board to length I glued the two pieces together using my Bessey clamps and some wood glue.
Once I let the glue dry overnight, I pulled it out of the clamps, filled in any small gaps in the seam with DAP wood filler and then started sanding. As I was sanding I rounded the edges with the 80 grit to give the bench a more polished look.
When I sand any kind of top, I always start with an 80 grit and then go up to a 600 grit in this order: 80, 120, 150, 240, 320, 400, 600. I know not all carpenters and woodworkers go this high in grit, but every time I do, my wood gets such a smooth, polished finish. It feels so silky, it’s worth it!
Once sanding was complete, it’s time to add Walrus Oil Furniture Butter and after letting that cure overnight, attaching the base to the top!
